We welcome John & Rachel Hickey to the IOM staff.  John serves as the Director of the US Southwest Identity Matters Worldview Center Coordinator.

John & Rachel Hickey

We have some very exciting news we want to share with you!

HICKEY | We wanted to take the time to tell you that we are currently making a transition into full-time ministry. We've been preparing for this for quite some time now, and we believe that this is the right time for us to fully embrace this next season of our life.

Rachel and I have known Dr. Phinney, and his wife, for over 20 years. Throughout this time, we have discussed the possibility of joining their team. Our commitment to each other in friendship, mentorship, and now as co-workers, is nothing short of eternal.

For the greater part of a year, I (John) have been in the process of staff-application with The Institute of Ministry (IOM America). They have invited me to apply for the Director position for the Phoenix Identity Matters Worldview Center. IOM is a nonprofit dedicated to helping members of the body of Christ experience, mature in, and communicate the message of identification with Christ in His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension in their various spheres of influence.

Here are a few of the responsibilities I look forward to completing:

  • Manage all referred contacts referred by the Identity Matters Center Headquarters

  • Develop new local contacts & link each to the IFEL Network & IOM Headquarters

  • Continuously provide a live Identity Matters Conference Workbook study in the Southwest Coordinator's region

  • Manage local volunteers - including each in all forms of training & general events

  • If applicable, manage all local staff

  • Provide recruits, event details & supportive services to all Identity Matters Worldview conference, seminars & training workshops

  • Providing local counseling/discipleship by way of the Identity Matters Workbook and other related materials approved by IOM America

  • Coordinate all localized activities & events delegated by IOM America's head offices

  • Assist in fund-raising for IOM America

  • Provide recruits, manage event details & sponsorship of the Annual Volunteer Banquet & Fundraiser event

My wife and I would appreciate your prayers as we embark on this new adventure. Please feel free to contact me personally if you have any questions. Click Here
